When Stuff and Rip find a photograph of Freddy and Peggy, they hatch a scheme to create fake "Wanted" posters featuring the two as criminals—only to have their prank backfire spectacularly when a police officer stumbles upon the posters and takes them seriously. Now Freddy and Peggy are on the run from the law, desperately trying to convince everyone it's just a joke before things spiral completely out of control. It's a hilarious reminder that some pranks are funnier in theory than in practice.

When Freddy finds an old gypsy wishing ring in a popcorn prize box, his friends mock the idea that it could grant wishes—until he actually rubs it and discovers something that defies explanation. Now Freddy finds himself caught between the skepticism of his pals and whatever impossible thing the ring has conjured up, leaving him with a secret nobody's going to believe.

Nick the Beat needs cash to impress his girlfriend, but the mention of "work" sends him into an absolute frenzy—so he sets out to find a job where he can really express himself and "beat it out, man." What follows is a comic misadventure as Nick bounces from one gig to another, discovering that "beating it out" doesn't always mean what he thinks it means.

Freddy thinks he's scored a bargain with a beat-up car, but when he takes Peggy for a joyride, the vehicle's mechanical shortcomings put them in an immediate jam—literally hitting a farmer's pig and leaving them stranded in the rain. As Freddy and Peggy face a three-mile walk to get a jack from the garage, their imaginations run wild with anxiety about what the rental fee might be, and the pair's worried speculation spirals into an increasingly absurd argument that threatens to blow the whole situation out of proportion.
