The issue also features "The Lil' Pan Band" by Ted Willis, a classical mythology tale in which the god Pan encounters a frightened shepherd fleeing the forest and discovers that mysterious noises in the woods are causing widespread panic among both animals and humans. Additionally, the comic contains a comedic strip about a rabbit character who escapes a farmer's pursuit, briefly enjoys city life, but ultimately takes a job at a farm with a "Pigs Wanted" sign, having decided that rural work suits him better than urban adventure.
In "The Big Bang," a mischievous crow terrorizes the park with a string of robberies, until Cosmo finally corners him. The crow’s desperate escape leads to a wild twist when he hands Cosmo an atomic exploding cigar—only for the blast to take out more than just the thief, leaving a trail of chaos and a missing fortune in its wake.
