Furious at the theft of his deck of tarot cards, Morgan Penrose has Orlean Cooper send mutants from the assassins guild after Gambit. Dan discovers that Fast Jack is the one responsible for stealing the cards from Gambit so the mutant X-Man goes out and steals them back. Proud of his efforts, Remy does not realize that he is walking right into the hands of Alphonse and Stone who have been sent to kill him. Fast Jack tracks down Dan and kills him just as the old gambler is calling the X-Men for help.
