Young mutant, Shirow Ishihara, produces a gas which causes those who are exposed to it to become horribly disfigured but also completely mind controlled. The Pig has captured Shirow and is harvesting the gas in his bid for world domination. Gambit and Shirow's sister, Zoe, have also been captured but are able to escape and rescue the young boy from the Pig. Gambit gives his old foe a taste of his own medicine (or gas as the case may be). Fontanelle finally comes face to face with New Son.
