Gen 13 #28
In "Remote Control," the Gen 13 team faces a sudden threat when a giant robot crashes into their safehouse, sent by Tindalos to harvest genetic samples from the teens. With Isaiah’s mysterious past resurfacing and Burnout’s powers restored, the group must adapt fast—especially when Grunge turns to stone and loses a hand to the machine. Written by John Arcudi and illustrated by Gary Frank, with inks by Cam Smith and vibrant colors by Martin Jimenez, Laura DePuy, and Wildstorm FX, this 1998 issue blends high-stakes action with personal stakes, as Roxy reconnects with her mother and the team confronts a foe that knows more than it should. The cover by Gary Frank and Cam Smith captures the moment’s tension perfectly.
