Gerechtigkeitsliga #2
In "Überleben in der Ewigkeit," Batman and Robin from Earth II team up with Mr. Scarlet and Pinky to investigate a bizarre phenomenon affecting the inhabitants of a mysterious location. With Joker and Träne joining forces to commit crimes, the real mystery lies in the strange behavior of the locals—something neither villain fully understands. Written by E. Nelson Bridwell and Martin Pasko, with art by Dick Dillin and inks by Frank McLaughlin, the issue features a cover by Ernie Chan.
In "Überleben in der Ewigkeit," King Kull's latest scheme threatens Earth-S, freezing Shazam and the Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses on the Rock of Eternity while only Mercury escapes to rally the JLA and JSA. With the help of Earth-1's Blockbuster and Penguin, Earth-2's Clea, and the Squadron of Justice, the heroes unite—but their victory is only the beginning of a far greater challenge.
In the stark silence of the Eternal Rock, Kull has turned an entire people to stone—only Merkur, the God’s Messenger, escapes. Sent by Shazam across the void, he carries a desperate warning: the time to gather the heroes of other worlds has come.
In "Teil 1 - Bring all die Helden zusammen," King Kull's latest assault on Earth-S reaches a terrifying peak when he freezes Shazam and the Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses on the Rock of Eternity. With only Mercury escaping, the desperate wizard dispatches him across Earths 1 and 2 to rally the JLA and JSA—uniting heroes from both worlds in a race against time. But as the teams confront IBAC, Blockbuster, Penguin, Clea, and the Squadron of Justice, they realize this is only the beginning of a far greater threat.
In "Teil 2 - Terror in der versunkenen Stadt!", the heroes of three worlds press on against Kull’s growing threat, now facing the eerie ruins of a drowned city on Earth II. With the cloud disruptors disabled, the team must navigate the submerged ruins before Kull’s next move unfolds.
In "Teil 3 - Tobende Vulkane," Kull unleashes his terrifying power across the Earth, turning anyone who sees a rock into stone, an iceberg into ice, and a diamond into a crystalline form—each transformation a chilling reminder of his escalating control. The story unfolds with urgent tension as the planet itself becomes a battleground of elemental fear, with no safe sight unmarked by danger.
In "Teil 4 - Lachen unter Tränen" from Gerechtigkeitsliga #2 (1978), Batman and Robin from Earth II team up with Mr. Scarlet and Pinky to unravel a strange phenomenon affecting the city’s residents. When the Joker and Träne form an unlikely alliance to commit crimes, the heroes soon realize the odd behavior of the populace isn’t their doing—something deeper is at play.
In "Teil 5 - Chaos zwischen Hell und Dunkel," King Kull's escalating scheme pushes the JLA, JSA, and Squadron of Justice to their limits as they confront the next stage of his dark design. Meanwhile, Johnny Thunder and his Thunderbolt—joined by Mercury—find the powerless Billy and Mary Batson, along with Freddy Freeman, who are baffled by their sudden inability to call upon Shazam’s power. With a surge of magic, Johnny’s Thunderbolt restores their connection to the mystic lightning, and the Marvel Family prepares to answer the call.
In "Teil 6 - Chancen für das Morgen," the Justice League, Justice Society, and Squadron of Justice unite to stop King Kull’s final gambit, culminating in a tense showdown on the Rock of Eternity. When Superman is transformed by Red Kryptonite into a deadly threat, Captain Marvel barely survives—saved only by a single word, “Shazam,” and a desperate rescue in midair as Superman’s mind clears. With Kull finally captured by the Marvel Family, the heroic forces part ways, returning to their own worlds after a battle that tested loyalty, power, and the cost of victory.
In "Teil 7 - Tod aus dem grünen Computer," King Kull's latest scheme reaches its climax as the Justice League, Justice Society, and Squadron of Justice unite to stop him. When Superman faces Kull on the Rock of Eternity, a dose of Red Kryptonite twists him into a violent force, nearly killing Captain Marvel—until a single word, "Shazam," breaks the spell and saves Billy Batson mid-fall. With Kull finally captured by the Marvel Family, the heroes depart, each returning to their own world.
In "Teil 8 - Wenn Titanen kämpfen!", the Justice League, Justice Society, and Squadron of Justice unite to stop King Kull’s final move, culminating in a showdown on the Rock of Eternity. When Superman is transformed by Red Kryptonite into a violent threat, he nearly destroys Captain Marvel—only for the spell to break when Billy utters “Shazam,” saving him as he plummets from the sky. With Kull captured and the heroes triumphant, the three teams depart back to their own worlds from the Rock.
