As the final part of King Kull's plan continues, it is thwarted once again by the Justice League, the Justice Society, and the Squadron of Justice. When Superman confronts Kull on the Rock of Eternity however, he's turned into a killer by a dose of Red Kryptonite and almost destroys Captain Marvel, but when Marvel utters “Shazam”, the spell is broken and is saved by Superman while in freefall as Billy. Kull is then captured by the Marvel Family and the four triumphant heroic groups then leave back to their respective worlds from the Rock.
