“Obligations”

In "Obligations," the aftermath of chaos at the carnival brings military forces to clear the wreckage, taking Eli’s body to his son’s cabin for burial. As Vengeance continues to stalk Ghost Rider, Quinn opens a portal to redirect the threat, and the group reunites at the cabin after Miranda uses her powers to erase the guards’ memories. John opens the box Eli left behind, and Eli’s head appears, revealing that his son Quinn is now aiding him—leaving the team standing in solemn silence before the graves of those they’ve lost. Written by Mackie and illustrated by Adam Kubert, with inks by Bill Reinhold, colors by Gregory Wright, and letters by Oakley, the cover by Adam Kubert and Andy Kubert captures the weight of the moment.

The army comes to clean up the mess left at the carnival. They take Eli's body to his son's cabin to bury him. Vengeance follows Ghost Rider attacks. Quinn opens a portal sending him somewhere else. The rest of the group shows up at the cabin after Miranda uses her powers to make the guardsmen who caught them forget they ever saw them. John opens a box that Eli left with his son for him and Eli's head appears saying that he has left John something in the box to help him and that his son Quinn is also there to help him now. It ends with everyone standing before the graves of their loved ones.
