Military veteran George decides to become a teacher; his fiancee June says she’ll get a job to support them while he attends college. After a time, George “doesn’t feel like a man anymore,” because he’s living off June’s salary. George leaves but runs into a fellow veteran working in a coffee shop: like George, he felt guilty going to college while his wife worked, and dropped out. But he regrets it now. George returns to June, determined to succeed.
