Mother Entropy chooses Pip to be her host and transforms him so he will begin spreading spores which will infect all life in the universe. The Guardians blow Pip out of their airlock before he can infect them but he falls into Shi'ar Prime's orbit. The Guardians try to warn the Shi'ar about Mother Entropy but the Shi'ar arrest the Guardians for earlier crimes.
