The Shi'ar ignore the Guardians' warnings about Mother Entropy until Pip appears, infecting Gladiator. The Guardians try to flee but Rocket is infected and has to remain on Shi'ar Prime. Gamora realizes Pip's teleportation power links him to Drax and her, so separates themselves from Star-Lord and Groot. Soon, Pip has infected countless worlds with Mother Entropy's spores. Groot directs Star-Lord to a solution, guiding them back to Shi'ar Prime.
