Mother Entropy infects Star-Lord but Groot opposes her and drives his roots into her body, separating Pip from her. With Pip released Entropy's infection fades. Groot also obtains a small fortune in gems from Mother Entropy's Mother Stone, enabling the Guardians to successfully pay off their debts.
