Gwandanaland Comics #2370
In "I, Slime," writer Al Hewetson and artist Maelo Cintron deliver a surreal, genre-bending tale where the real-world figures Fredric Wertham and Len Darvin confront Skywald Comics staff—including Hewetson himself—over the content of horror comics. When their heated debate turns deadly, the story takes a wild turn as tiny, living versions of Skywald’s classic monsters—like the Heap and Frankenstein’s Monster—emerge from the pages to exact their own justice. Cover by Josep Maria Miralles, this 2019 issue blends historical satire with supernatural chaos in a bold, visually striking narrative.
