Gwandanaland Comics #2369
In "The Pollution Monsters," sailor Steve Lajos sheds his uniform for a gilded disguise as the dapper Robert Martin, preying on unsuspecting women during his shore-leave. But when he dares to enter the temple of mirrors, home of the seven-armed god Struga, his arrogance shatters—literally—when he breaks a sacred pane, unleashing a vision of his true self and condemning him to eternal reckoning. Mike Esposito handles both art and inks, with Jean Izzo on letters, while Brendan Lynch’s cover captures the eerie allure of the temple’s reflection.
