Ha Ha Comics #89 is an anthology featuring animal-themed humorous stories. "Robespierre" tells the tale of a dog who discovers an ancient mammoth bone that has been in his family for years and attempts to trade it to hunters for a larger prize, only to accidentally destroy it in the process. Another story follows a fox character named Foxy who gets gypped out of fifty dollars and schemes to recover the money from Gabby Gander by planting seeds he claims will grow into money trees, leading to a series of comedic misadventures as Foxy's con is revealed.
