In a playful twist on a classic game, a man tries to enjoy a quiet evening at home by pretending to be a hare, leading his children on a paper-trail chase through town. But when a misunderstanding with a police officer turns his clever plan into a real-life chase, he finds himself on the run—only to return home to a kitchen in chaos and a mother who’s had enough of his “new deal.”

Hap and Zipper are paired together in a high-stakes junior golf tournament, much to Hap’s dismay—especially when he learns his rival, the smug college player Sharpie Smith, is his partner. As the game unfolds, Sharpie’s constant pranks and showy tricks test Hap’s patience, but the real challenge may be keeping up with the ever-shifting course and Sharpie’s latest antics.

In "Howdy Stranger," Zippermouth mistakes a passing woman for his old acquaintance Betty, loudly complimenting her on her new look—only to be confused when she says she’s not Betty. His baffled reaction leads him to conclude she’s simply changed her name, adding another layer of comic misunderstanding to the moment.

Monty, a nervous newcomer, is unexpectedly invited to a romantic ride in a horse and buggy by a cheerful local girl, who has her sights set on a kiss. As the day unfolds, Monty’s anxiety escalates when the horse suddenly drops dead, leaving him stranded and pressured to “put some life” into the situation — literally.
