Happy Comics #35 is an anthology featuring multiple animal character stories. "Happy Rabbit in the Wild West" depicts Happy Rabbit playing football and catching a touchdown pass with the aid of Fleer's Dubble Bubble Gum. "Casey the Cat" shows Casey spraying a dog with a hose, laughing at the soaked result, and later being chased by the angry dog into a tree. "Bonny Bunny" follows a female rabbit's shopping trip that is interrupted when she insists on making a purchase, leading to a comedic sequence involving a store crowded with shoppers. A final story features Happy Rabbit involved in an apple-related reward scheme with a bear character, ultimately leading to a revelation about honesty and trickery.
