In "Where Have All the Bluebirds Gone? (Part 1 of 3)," Wendy and her fellow Blue Birds journey to Bluebird Valley in search of their missing kin. When Barbara, Suzy, and Evelyn follow a trail of blueberries to a giant saucer, they’re suddenly trapped beneath an upside-down cup as the Unhappy Giant carries the saucer away — leaving their fate uncertain.

In "Giant Blues (Part 2 of 3)," the Unhappy Giant returns home, hoping to lift his daughter’s spirits by giving her a cup he believes holds bluebirds—unaware that three real Blue Birds are hidden within. As his daughter befriends Barbara, Suzy, and Evelyn, her laughter finally reaches her father, bringing him a quiet joy. Meanwhile, Foggy the bluebird guides Wendy and Casper on a search to find the missing Blue Birds, setting the stage for what comes next.

In "Up Up and Away (Part 3 of 3)," Wendy ventures into the giant's house while Casper races to gather help, hoping to rescue the three Blue Birds. When the giant grows furious at Wendy’s efforts, it’s his daughter who steps forward—her new friends, the Blue Birds, have asked to return home. Together, she and Casper guide them back to their flock.

In "Magic (Part 3 of 3)," Helpful Hannah attempts a simple spell to summon a bluebird, only to accidentally conjure a blue dinosaur instead. As the girls return home, they’re surprised to find real bluebirds taking up residence in the birdhouse they’d built—just in time to wonder what magic might be at work.
