Hellblazer #8
In "The Smokeless Fire - Part 2," John Constantine follows a dead end in Paris after the brutal death of his only lead, Jacque Henry, leaving him no closer to uncovering the truth behind the Djinn. When he crosses paths with Misabel Lefebvre, a dealer in forbidden artifacts, he begins to suspect she might know something about a stolen relic—one that could be tied to the very creature he’s hunting. Written by Simon Oliver and illustrated by Philip Tan, with colors by Elmer Santos and letters by Sal Cipriano, this issue’s cover by Declan Shalvey captures the eerie, high-stakes tension of Constantine’s latest descent into the occult.

If only he knew that Mercury is secretly holding Adnan the Djinn prisoner. But, when he sees her, he does know one Misabel Lefebvre, a dealer in black-market curiosities who is looking for something that one of the thieves may have stolen from Jacque.
