Hellblazer: City of Demons #2

Sean Murphy's cover for this second chapter of the five-part Vertigo miniseries sets a quietly charged tone: a composed, badge-wearing woman in a cream outfit consults some kind of document while, looming large in the foreground, a disheveled and wild-haired Constantine broods in shadow — the Union Jack flag hanging overhead gives the whole scene an unmistakably British atmosphere. The contrast between her cool professionalism and his battered, haunted presence makes for a compelling visual pairing. Si Spencer's story title, "Another Girl, Another Planet," promises that this London-drenched supernatural noir is already heading somewhere intriguing.
