Off the coast of Panama, Bob Masters and Swab Decker—a pair of quick-fisted sailors—are assigned to escort a foreign submarine out of American territorial waters. When the sub's crew betrays their mission and attempts to submerge for a secret attack, the two scrappy sailors must fight their way through sabotage and danger to save the day and prove their worth to their exasperated captain. It's a fast-paced wartime adventure with plenty of shipboard brawling and close calls on the high seas.

A young woman dwells alone in a desolate inn hidden deep in the forest, but when Harvey White and his wife seek shelter from a violent storm, they discover something far stranger than an empty hostelry. As Harvey investigates mysterious sounds in the night, he glimpses impossible scenes—sailors carousing, women weeping—yet the girl insists she lives entirely alone. When his curiosity drives him to confront what he's seen, Harvey stumbles into a mystery the inn itself seems determined to keep hidden.

When three scheming toy competitors—Sam Snipe, Pat Pokem, and Lotta Lure—learn that Tommy Tinkle has landed a lucrative Santa Claus order, they hatch a sinister plot to muscle him out of the deal. Lotta Lure sets her sights on winning over the young puppet, while her cohorts plan to deal with Prof. Grund, but things don't quite go according to their villainous blueprint. It's a lighthearted romp through Tinkle Town with mischief, ambition, and the kind of comic chaos that makes 1940s humor comics such a blast.
