Kid Eternity and Mr. Keeper discover that a future newspaper has mysteriously fallen to Earth, landing in the hands of a destitute man who uses its knowledge of tomorrow's crimes to gain the attention of the Baron, a ruthless criminal mastermind. As Betty pieces together clues from racing entries and the jockey's final moments, she discovers that nothing about this case is quite what it seems.
