# Synopsis Hopalong Cassidy pursues the criminal Baxter after discovering he has left a time bomb at a shack. Hopalong races to the saloon to stop Baxter before the bomb detonates and kills innocent people, but Baxter manages to escape. When Hopalong and his men investigate, they discover that a body has gone missing from where it was supposedly left, leading Hopalong to suspect foul play connected to a murder charge. The following day, the sheriff's sons express their fears that something terrible has happened to their father in connection with these mysterious events.
