In "Diamonds of Death," Hopalong Cassidy pursues a criminal named Clayten who has stolen diamonds and taken refuge in a hotel room. After a confrontation in which Clayten attempts to kill Cassidy, Hopalong fights back in self-defense and ultimately apprehends the villain. Cassidy then pursues Clayten's associates across the countryside, leading a posse to round up the entire gang of rustlers and criminals.
