Hulk #7
In "Chapitre 1 : la ville en transe," the Hulk crashes into a Florida swamp after a missile strike, stumbling upon a cabin and triggering a chain reaction when he destroys barrels of radioactive waste—giving rise to the muck monster known as the Glob. As the military closes in and the Glob takes Betty hostage, mistaking her for a lost love from his human past, an unexpected clash unfolds between the Hulk and the creature. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated with raw energy by Herb Trimpe—his pencils and inks bringing the chaos to life, with colors by Michele Robinson—this 1984 issue features a striking cover by Gil Kane, setting the tone for a tense, swamp-bound showdown.
