This issue features the main story "Fancy Dancer!" in which Humphrey, described as a mighty big and brave boy, finds himself in an awkward situation when asked to dance with a girl. The story shows Humphrey initially riding in a motorcycle sidecar with a female companion who compliments his dancing abilities. Additional content includes a humorous tale about a motorist and his companion stranded in the desert with a broken-down car running low on water, and "Little Max in Brain Storm in the Rain," depicting a young shoe-shiner whose business suffers when an unexpected rainstorm ruins the day and forces him to take shelter. The issue also contains advertisements for products including Dubble Bubble gum and the Filmatic movie viewer projector.
