Joe Palooka's Buddy Humphrey faces a frightening experience in the House of Crazy Mirrors. In "The Fans Take Over," Joe Palooka's devoted fan club from Harrisburg visits his home, causing chaos when they accidentally crash a truck into his fence while he attempts to manage the situation. "The Popsicle Hall of Fame" honors Patrick O'Hare of St. Louis, Missouri, a youth award winner who rescues a boy trapped in a drain pipe and receives recognition for his heroic deed. Captain Tootsie lends a helping hand when he assists a doctor by using wooden boards to free a car stuck in the mud, and the doctor thanks him by telegram while promoting Tootsie Roll candy.
