Amadeus Cho has released a techno virus that has grounded all SHIELD transport and released all of the prisoners in the Negative Zone prison. The only thing left in the air is the ancient SHIELD Behemoth which Herc and Cho have stolen. Ares attacks and Hercules has to fight him off. He tells Cho a story of his past to convince his young friend to stop the deadly virus and allow SHIELD to continue to function.
