Hercules and Cho are on the road with Athena when she brings them to a Celestial towering over the city of San Francisco. As the heroes investigate, Hercules is confronted by the Eternals Ikaris and Thena, who insist he is their old comrade Gilgamesh. Hercules insists that he isn't Gilgamesh, and a battle ensues. Things get straightened out when Makkari admits that he misunderstood the Dreaming Celestial and Hercules is not, in fact, their fellow Eternal. Athena brings Hercules to the council elite of the divine pantheons of Earth to discuss the coming Skrull war.
