In "Part Two" of Infinite Crisis, as Alex Luthor's scheme reaches its peak, Earth-2 Superman reaches out to his cousin Power Girl. Though she has no memory of him, she follows his lead to a dying Earth-2 Lois, whose final moments unlock Power Girl’s forgotten past in the Old Multiverse.

In "Part Three" of Infinite Crisis, Earth-2 Superman arrives at the Batcave to brief Batman on the unraveling of the Old Multiverse and the dangerous plan to restore it. In "Part Six" of Infinite Crisis, as the multiverse fractures and reforms, Alex's desperate bid to forge a "perfect" Earth—by merging and destroying countless realities—threatens to unravel all that remains. With the heroes racing to stop him, the battle escalates as Superboy clashes with Superboy-Prime, shattering the tower that held the fractured worlds together, freeing captives and drawing every remaining hero and villain into the fray.

In the climactic "Part Seven" of Infinite Crisis, the combined might of the Supermen confronts Superboy Prime as his powers fade under the red sun’s glare—only for him to unleash one final, devastating act before being imprisoned on Oa. Trapped in a sciencell powered by a miniature red sun, Superboy Prime swears he’ll break free again, while a chilling epilogue sees Alexander Luthor Jr. meet his end at the hands of the Joker, his grand design undone.
