When a stolen experimental submarine falls into the hands of a demented inventor named Simon Lark, Vince Harley—the hero known as Yellowjacket—must spring into action to rescue his girlfriend Diane Carter, who's been taken captive aboard the vessel. With his trained bees as allies and a Coast Guard cutter closing in, Yellowjacket battles to save Diane from both the unhinged Lark and the very depths of the ocean itself.
