# "The Panther Man" John Wayne confronts a mysterious creature known as the Panther Man in a desert cave. A fugitive named Bill Kefis, wanted for killing his own son, has been hiding in the area and uses the legend of the Panther Man to his advantage, hoping to frame Wayne for murders. Wayne pursues Kefis through the wilderness, ultimately cornering him in a canyon where a posse closes in. Kefis, desperate and wounded, attempts to escape but is shot down, his scheme exposed and justice served.
