Journey into Mystery #12
In "Kiss of Death," a woman’s plan to eliminate her writer husband takes a chilling turn when she stages a haunted-house ruse—dressed as a vampire, she aims to frighten his fragile heart. But when a real vampire strikes during their night in the old house, the roles reverse in a way neither of them expected. Tony DiPreta’s art brings the gothic tension to life, while Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia’s cover captures the eerie mood of a 25-cent horror tale from 1974.
