Journey into Mystery #64
In "I Dared to Battle...Rorgg, King of the Spider-Men!!," a desperate man's quest for a quick fix leads him to a mysterious gypsy camp and a dangerous magic potion in this 1961 classic from Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, whose distinctive art brings the surreal, weight-obsessed nightmare to life. The cover by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers captures the story's bizarre tone, while the haunting premise of a man trapped in a never-ending spiral of hunger and decay unfolds with eerie precision.
