Justice League of America #147
In "Crisis in the 30th Century!", the Justice League of America, joined by the Justice Society and the Legion of Super-Heroes, find themselves trapped in the distant future by the sorcerer Mordru. Forced to retrieve the Bell, Wheel, and Jar—three lost relics from a destroyed JLA satellite—before the ancient demons Abnegazar, Rath, and Ghast are reborn, the heroes must confront a threat that spans centuries. Written by Paul Levitz and Martin Pasko, with dynamic art by Dick Dillin and inks by Frank McLaughlin, and a striking cover by Dillin and McLaughlin, this 1977 classic blends time-travel intrigue with the stakes of a cosmic reckoning.
