“Crisis in Triplicate!”

In "Crisis in Triplicate!", the Justice League of America, Justice Society of America, and Legion of Super-Heroes team up to retrieve three ancient artifacts, only to awaken three imprisoned demons whose millennia in captivity have changed them in unexpected ways. Martin Pasko and Paul Levitz deliver a layered, high-stakes adventure as the heroes face Abnegazar’s desire for peace, Rath’s thirst for domination, and Ghast’s longing to restore Earth-1 to its former state—each with their own vision of what comes next. Dick Dillin’s dynamic art, with Frank McLaughlin’s inks and Anthony Tollin’s colors, brings the cosmic clash to life, while Rich Buckler and Jack Abel’s cover captures the moment of revelation.

As all three teams recover the three items, and the three demons are restored, changes have happened between the demons while imprisoned over a 1000 yrs: Abnegazar wants to be peaceful, while Rath wants to rule everything, and Ghast just wants to restore the entire Earth-1 universe back to how it was before they were first captured. Eventually, the JLA/JSA/Legion teams defeat all three demons and Mordru, and go their separate ways.
