“The Dark Things, Part Two”

In "The Dark Things, Part Two," the Justice Society of America splits its focus as some members battle chaotic-energy foes, while a smaller team races to find the Shade—only to discover Obsidian and Dr. Fate, both under the influence of the Starheart, have already arrived. Meanwhile, the JLA enlists Miss Martian to reach out to Starman, eventually bringing Shilo Norman and Mister Miracle into the search for the missing Mikaal. Written by James Robinson and illustrated by Mark Bagley, with colors by Allen Passalaqua and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue’s cover by Mark Bagley and Jesús Merino captures the tension of a team on the edge of something far darker.
