Justice Society of America #42
In "The Dark Things, Part Four," Green Lantern Kyle Rayner arrives at the Starheart's lunar headquarters just as Obsidian manipulates Jade into joining him, unraveling the constructs of the Starheart and unleashing a new threat forged from the siblings' combined power. Inside, Faust confronts a deception—his allies are battling a false Alan Scott, conjured using Dr. Fate’s magic—while Dr. Mid-Nite separates Nelson from his helm and recovers Starman’s gem. On Earth, Mr. Terrific calls Power Girl and Supergirl away from their battle with another Alan Scott, who then departs for the moon to reunite with his children. Written by James Robinson and illustrated by Mark Bagley, with inks by Norm Rapmund, colors by Allen Passalaqua, and letters by Rob Leigh, the cover by Mark Bagley and Jesús Merino captures the tension of this pivotal moment in the Justice Society’s saga.
