Mansion of Mangled Men!
10 pp · Crime

Ken Shannon takes on a case that seems straightforward enough—witness a wealthy man's will change and keep him alive—but the mansion where it all unfolds carries a dark history of its own. When a lawyer turns up dead before the will can even be signed, Ken finds himself caught between a desperate nephew, his scheming wife, a gambling racketeer with his own stake in the fortune, and a killer who keeps striking before anyone can stop him. With bodies piling up and suspects everywhere, Shannon has to untangle who stands to gain most from the chaos before the next victim falls.

The Chinatown Murders!
7 pp · Crime

Ken Shannon and his girl Friday, Dee Dee Dawson, stumble into a deadly situation in Chinatown when a desperate merchant seaman named Mike Talcott begs for help—all over a seemingly worthless porcelain tiger statue. When Talcott turns up dead after revealing the statue came from an opium den, Shannon realizes everyone from gang runners to crooked cops will kill to get their hands on it, forcing him to navigate the fog-shrouded streets and back alleys of the underworld to uncover the truth. Double-crosses and femmes fatales lurk around every corner in this brutal little tale of stolen treasure and murder.
