Knockout #433 is an anthology comic featuring three stories: "Deed-a-Day Danny," in which Danny helps an old man with his boots and receives coupons as reward; "The Green Star," where young Frank Murchison and his chum Jim Weatherby, prisoners of an Indian rajah, search for a hidden emerald called the Green Star while attempting to escape; and "The Phantom Sheriff," following a masked lawman pursuing criminals through the desert while trying to rescue Pop Lang from kidnappers. The issue also includes "Lost in the Pacific," detailing the harrowing survival ordeal of three young airmen—Pip, Fred, and Rupert—who are stranded on an island with cannibals before being rescued by a steamer.
