This anthology issue contains three stories: "Daffy the Deputy Sheriff," in which the bumbling lawman pursues escaped cattle and inadvertently creates chaos while attempting to recapture them; "Tough and Happy Tod: The Runaway Orphans," wherein Tod and Annie, two orphans, board a train to Manchester after being chased by their cruel guardian, but are discovered mid-journey and must contend with a thief who steals a suitcase before being apprehended by station detectives; and "Saki the Leopard Boy," an adventure tale in which the young hero and his companions encounter the scheming warrior Umbala and his army, engaging in battles to protect the peaceful Feranjis and their kingdom.
