When offered money to leave town, he agrees, only to be tricked into a farcical escape plan involving a river bridge, leaving his fate hanging in the balance.
A young man named Molasses Mouth tries to catch mosquitoes, claiming he’s doing it for his date who “wanted a bite.” His odd behavior draws confusion and amusement from a passerby, who can’t fathom why anyone would go to such lengths to satisfy a simple request.
In a brief, lighthearted moment from *Lash LaRue Western #19*, a thirsty man dramatically collapses in the desert heat, prompting his companions to rush to find water. After a comical sequence of frantic efforts and exaggerated thirst relief, he recovers—only to sheepishly admit he was simply parched, much to the amusement of those around him.
