In "Two Killers," Lash LaRue confronts a man who has been duped into participating in a robbery scheme; LaRue reveals that the man's associate has tricked him into burying stolen loot so that he could be locked away, preventing interference with the robbery. In "Four-Footed Sheriff," a Red Roan Western Yarn, a wild stallion named Red Roan leads his drought-stricken herd toward rancher Rob Raeburn's irrigated property, only to be pursued by outlaw Faro Skale, who seeks to intercept the herd and escape the law. The issue also includes a bank robbery story featuring Lash LaRue investigating criminals who plan to steal money using disguises and coordination among bank employees.
