# Lash Larue Western #70 In "Behind a Sixgun," outlaw Web Mason terrorizes Wyoming Territory with his gun skill and strength, leaving a trademark of violence wherever he goes. When Sheriff Bob Thorne encounters Lash Larue, he informs him that gunhawks working for a mysterious employer have raided Ben Mathews' ranch, killing the old man; Thorne suspects Web Mason is behind the murders and asks Lash to help track down the killers. Lash agrees to assist Thorne in pursuing the renegades and settling the score for Ben's death.
