In "The Champion," Coach Kleats enlists his students to build a ski slope, turning a snowy hillside into a makeshift run. While Jughead naps in a bulldozer’s seat, his curiosity leads him to accidentally set the machine in motion—sending it careening down the hill, scraping away snow and ice in a chaotic heap at the bottom. A classic slice of Archie-style chaos, this 1982 issue features the vibrant, playful art of Dan DeCarlo and Bill Woggon on the cover, with coloring by Barry Grossman.
