Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Stan Goldberg, with inks by Jon D'Agostino, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1983 adventure features a cover by Dan DeCarlo.

Archie checks out an old book from the library, and mysterious old man appears to him claiming to be the author and appreciating Archie's recognition of his efforts. Soon Archie is displaying the ability to see into the future. Realizing that the source of the power is in the book, Reggie takes the book for himself, but the author doesn't appreciate Reggie's dismissal of it as "junk," and so the power doesn't work for Reggie quite as well as it did for Archie.
