A young boy, eager to learn carpentry, tries to help a grumpy neighbor build a garage—only to accidentally ruin tools and disrupt the work with well-intentioned but chaotic efforts. The neighbor grows increasingly exasperated, while the boy remains undeterred, eventually drawing his own conclusions about craftsmanship and patience.

Ollie and his father, Pop, set out to build increasingly elaborate traps based on a book, hoping to catch wild animals—only to repeatedly ensnare Pop himself, much to their surprise and amusement. Each trap backfires in a humorous way, culminating in Pop being caught upside down and later mistaken for a bear in a pitfall trap.

Li'l Genius sets out on a walk in the woods, determined to prove he won’t get lost, only to encounter a series of animals he believes are lost—including a bear cub, a baby crow, a skunk, and a calf—each of which leads to a comical mishap. As he tries to help them, he accidentally stumbles into trouble with their parents, eventually ending up chased deep into the forest—only to find himself back at camp, claiming he had a quiet day.

Ollie, inspired by his father’s dismissive reaction to his dream of becoming a farmer, decides to start his own ant farm using ants from a rotten log. When he brings the log home to build his farm, the ants swarm him, leading to a chaotic and painful surprise that leaves his father regretting his refusal.
