Written by Dick Malmgren and illustrated by Bill Vigoda, with inks by Marty Epp and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1971 issue features a standout cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick.

The Archies discover that the river is full of dead fish, killed by chemicals from the Lodge paper mill. They go to Mr. Lodge himself to warn him about what his factories are doing to the water and air. When he gets this new information about the environment, Lodge resolves to change his ways: "I had no idea you kids today were so informed about what's going on around us today!"
