Life with Archie #177
In "Where There's Smoke," Archie and Veronica stumble upon a fortune in stolen cash—only to be wrongly accused of being the infamous B.B. Cooperstock’s henchmen. With no proof but the lingering scent of cigar smoke on the money, the duo must track down the real thief before the cops close in. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with vibrant energy by Stan Goldberg (art), Jon D'Agostino (ink), Barry Grossman (color), and Bill Yoshida (lettering), this 1977 mystery is a classic Archie-style caper with a twist. The cover by Stan Goldberg captures the intrigue perfectly.
