Limited Collectors' Edition #C-23
In "The House of Gargoyles!", a lonely little girl named Judy finds an unlikely companion in Pan, an animated statue that brings her joy in a shared fantasy world. As her real-world health falters and her father tries to convince her the statue is just stone, the bond between them lingers in a quiet, poignant moment that lingers beyond the story. Written by Robert Kanigher and brought to life with striking art by Neal Adams and Joe Orlando, with cover by Nick Cardy, this 1973 DC Limited Collectors' Edition captures a tender, haunting tale of imagination and loss.
